Virtual fields

Create fields based on the contents of one or more existing fields.

For example, the Length, Width and Height values may be combined as shown into a single Dimensions column.

Wherever possible data should not be duplicated within your product management software. Storing a length value twice (within the separate Length field as well as within the Dimensions field) without using a feature like Virtual fields means your data needs to be updated in two places, and you may accidentally publish contradicting values in your catalog.

Virtual fields are updated automatically at a database level within Producty®.
